As we've tried to keep the site simple, the registration is also simple. We don't ask you for your full address because when a purchase or sale is made a user is more than likely going to pay with their PayPal account which provides their name and address (we recommend shipping only to verified PayPal addresses).
Should you come across someone who wants to buy your item and doesn't have a PayPal account, firstly that would be left to your discretion and if you wish to go ahead the payment and shipping information is left between you and the buyer. You can exchange emails to communicate the arrangements or use the messaging system on this site.

I do not have a PayPal account
We recommend you sign up to PayPal if you would like to sell items on this site. Most buyers use PayPal as it is quick and easy. If you are a seller that does not have PayPal please consider signing up before listing items.
It is always possible to offer customers alternative methods of payment, but they do not offer the same protection as PayPal.

First thing you need to know is there is a minimum bid of 25p on this site. This prevents users bidding up in pennies to win over one another!
Secondly, we work a little differently to eBay for example. You may be the highest bidder, but it is left to the sellers discretion whether they decide to sell their item for the final price (and highest bidder) or not.
We could add a reserve price, but this often puts bidders off. This also means sellers can start their prices lower to encourage bids and eliminates the problem of not reaching a high enough bid to cover their costs.
As a seller you can place a listing and not have to worry about it ending for a fraction of the price you need and being obliged to sell it. For bidders, you are welcome to contact the seller and offer them slightly more (haggle!) if you still want the item.
So to round it up... sellers are not obliged to sell their item to the final bidder should they feel it hasn't reached an appropriate amount.

How do I accept the highest bid?
At any time during your item listing you can accept the highest bid, or you can wait until the listing ends. To see bids for an item go to My Active Items and click 'Edit'. If any bids have been placed you will see them at the bottom of the page.
Click on the link next to the highest bidder which says 'Click to sell to this bidder'. Once you have done this the bidder will receive an email telling them they have won this item. They will be encouraged to log in as soon as possible to pay.
You can view this items status in My Sold (it will no longer be in My Active Items).
How do I know I can trust the seller?
We have recently added a feedback feature so that buyers can leave comments and a rating of between 0 and 5 stars for their purchase with the seller. If you have any doubts after viewing their profile and/or website either send them a message or contact us. We will help you make the purchase, or we will contact the seller for you. PayPal can refund you if you paid for a service or an item that has not been delivered. Should the need arise we can also help you with this. So far we have had no problem with our members!
We have also added the Verfied Seller status.
Both are new and it will take time for users to utilise these features.
Sale prices are set by the sellers, and if you chose to buy their item you pay them directly through their PayPal account (or any other chosen method agreed between the seller and the buyer).
We do not hold any responsibility for the sellers descriptions or imagery. We ask that buyers are sure they have read the sellers description properly, and have contacted the seller if they are unsure about anything in the sellers listing.
Sellers - please always ensure you ship to the users registered PayPal address, otherwise you do so at your own risk.

You can add shipping prices for as many countries as you like, or alternatively, just enter a flat fee for Europe and Worldwide. When listing a new item you will automatically be taken to the shipping page. If your item is active, simply choose 'Edit item' in 'My Items' and under 'Shipping' choose 'Click to edit shipping information'. Relisted items will automatically inherit previous shipping prices.
